The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi d.o.c. Passito "Dolce Cate" is a sweet wine produced from the highly acclaimed Versatile Verdicchio grape of the Marche. The vineyards are located in the historucal region of Jesi, Castelplanio (Ancona). The coastal area near Jesi is perfectly suited to wine production, with its pebbly fossils in the terrain soil and maritime climate. In fact, this zone within the Esino River valley is considered one of the premier wine producing areas in Italy today.

Harvest Season: mid-October
Grape Raisining: approximately 5 months in naturally ventilated rack dried.
Vinification and Aging: Decantation of must at low temperatures and fermentation in small barrels at room temperature. Maturation occurs there for approximately 24 months, followed by aging in bottle for 4 months.
Sensory Analysis: It presents a slightly amber yellow color, this delicately sweet wine is full and persistent, fine and delicate with faintly spicy notes and intense aromas.
Serving suggestions: Ideal with seasoned cheeses, shortcrust pastries and other dry pastries
